Intense garnet red. Upon olfactory examination, fragrances of wild blackberries, black cherries and small berries stand out. When tasted it is exciting but rhythmic, with a finish dominated by a clear tannic strength. A wine for the whole meal, Friuli Grave Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso DOC accompanies land cuisine preparations well. Excellent with rice and sausage.
